In school, for our I.C.T lesson we get to do skype. It is fun. Even though we all have a laugh it is part of our internet safety programme. We get to do web cam and talk on the microphone. It is really great fun, but we should be really safe about what we do on the internet because people could want to know our details and they would want to meet up with us. This is a really bad thing because if we meet up with them something really bad could happen!
SO! ... We should be S.M.A.R.T:
- Safe - not giving out your personal details.
- Meeting - people you have contacted could be very dangerous.
- Accept - people you do not know could get you into serious trouble.
- Reliable - people could be lying about what they are saying and their age and details.
- Tell - always tell someone you know and that you can rely on.
These are the internet safety rules. Also never communicate with a stranger you do not know.
