Should pupils wear a formal school shirt and tie?

It makes you look smart and respectful as well as representing your school better then wearing just a white t-shirt and burgundie jumper. Buying school uniform can be expensive and normally is not the uniform you would expect.

When you wear a tie you feel high classed and important. When my mum was a child and went to St. Gregory's Catholic Primary School, the uniform was a shirt and tie, she would wear yellow and red ribbons in her hair too because that was the colour of the uniform then. A year before I joined the uniform was yellow and red with no tie or shirt they wore polo shirt. A year after that when I came in reception the uniform changed to burgundy.

School Uniform

Should pupils wear a formal school shirt and tie?

It makes you look smart and makes you more part of the school, but its not comfortable when you sit down for a long time. So I think its more comfertable to wear your own clothes.

Buying school uniform can be a bit expensive. The good thing is that you will feel proud because you will be wearing your school colours.

Overall I don't think pupils should wear a school shirt and tie. Mainly because it is uncomfortable and pricey.

Should pupils wear a formal school shirt and tie?

The Goverment has recently suggested that pupils in school should wear formal shirts and ties. Many have been wondering the cost of the ties and are worried that school uniform is changing slowly so are the costs.

The debate is interesting and I would like to argue against:

We believe children under the age of 12 should not have to put on ties simply because; a young child about 4-6 have to put on a tie in the morning and expect to run around with it when break time? Also when running can strangle there neck.

The Government have recently suggested that pupils should start wearing ties. Many people have been wondering what the price is for a tie and how long it will take for their child to learn how to wear a tie. Locals have been arguing about the school ties. Some children say that wearing a tie makes you look smart, others think not. Parents have beenarguing as well that their key stage 1 children might fiddle around with their ties, will they mess about?

A tie between yes and no

The government are thinking of introducing the formal school shirt and tie, but is it the right decision?
Many people are not sure on that decision, but they are not completely against it.
A lot of children have not been taught to wear a tie; this is because of the modernisation for the past 20 years.
One may suggest a tie because it is much more formal than a sweat shirt and gives a good impressionm, it also shows that they are proud to be a member of our school.
I personally think that schools should not have a tie because tie are hard to do up and for primary students are not the best for them.

Should Pupils Wear A Formal School Shirt And Tie?

The Government have recently suggested that pupils should start wearing a school tie, Many have been wondering how exactly the price would be and also how long would it take for their child to learn. I particularly believe that it is an extremely a bad idea because think about the Key Stage 1 children, will they be playing about with their tie or listening?

Although school ties make us look smart, it would be very expensive. One suggested that its an excellent idea because their opinion is that their child's school uniform is horrendous and because its a Catholic School their uniform should make a good impression and they have more authority and they would be proud wearing a School Tie.

In addition, I would like to suggest that may be quite a good idea because when you are presenting your school you would like to look proud and make people think that you look absolutely clever! The public also suggest that they would not be able to afford the ties and there's really no point of buying ties because the children will just mess them up and expect their parents to buy another one!

So please think carefully to this

Tie to Be or Not to Be

The government have been suggesting bringing in shirts and ties for schoolchildren. Many have been wondering about how much money we'll have to use as they have been spending enough money on uniform as it is. Also many children don't even now how to do up ties.

Although, it makes us look much more formal and look like a school together and most secondary schools wear them so it could get us ready for secondary school. Also it will make us feel proud of our school.

Altogether I think we should not bring in this rule as it may annoy all the students' parents for money reasons. Also, it would make it more simple because you wouldn't need to put all the pressure on the little kids.
