Yes SATs are over!

Yes the SATs are over we can sit back and relax. It's getting closer and closer to our new school and I wish all the luck to everyone including OO and BK! Can't wait till we have our party, the culture show and sports days on the 18th of June! Thank you to all the teachers that helped us get through these SATs.

The Diamond Jubilee

The Queen's Diamond Jubilee is not far away and very, very important because Queen Elizibeth II is ONLY the second queen to reign for 60 years!!!  As Queen Victoria was the first!

QUEEN'S DIAMOND JUBILEE

This year we will be celebrating the Queen's 60 years on the throne.  In the school there is bunting of the Union flag around the whole building and in every year group everyone is learning about the Queen.

 Facts about the queen:

• Queen Elizabeth II reigned England for 60 years.
• Her father was King George VI.
• The queen owns two dogs.

2012 Olympics

This year is 2012, and you know what that means, the 2012 Olympics which will be held in London. During this august event, hundreds of sporting activities will be occuring during this period such as boxing, swimming, gymnastics, cycling, running, relay, javelling, hammerthrow & and many others.  Please tune in and don't forget to buy your tickets or watch it on TV. 

Not long now!!!

T.H here and it's not long 'till y6 have to take our S.A.Ts.  We have been practising all week in different ways like revising and doing different activities. All the same we have a lot of work to do.  Most of us are running around preparing for S.A.Ts but others are concentrating on other things.

Since Mr.MacMorrow has retired we have a new head teacher, Mrs.Turner.  We welcome her into our school family. We hope she has already been impressed with us and all the work and displays around the school.
