Lego Machines

In 6K we are making Lego machines. We all made different machines. Me and my team were doing a machine that looks a lot like a twister but we didn't finish it yet. I worked with Maisie and Misha . Some people made a train or different exciting things. We had a lot of fun with the Lego machines some of us even found some Lego people to put on the machines, me and my team found two Lego people for our machine. We hope to finish it soon.

building lego models

In science we are building lego models, my team built a windmill and we had to and gears to make it move. To move the windmill, we had to a turn long lego piece and the two wheel with spikes (spur gear) rotated and that made the windmill rotate. IT WAS GREAT!!!

Lego Model

On the 9 of February Year 6 have been making 3D models from Lego they were very good and Ms Keating said it was fantastic. It took a lot of time to do it and also it was very hard because there were lots of parts and I (Jakub) did something wrong but I fixed it in 5 minutes! That's how hard it was, also I did it on my own so no one will interrupt. This is my model below, look at it and leave a comment.

Lego Machine Makers

6k and 6c have been making lego machines on wednesday 9th february 2011. Everyone worked really well and we really enjoyed it.

Why Should You Be Safe On Surfing The Internet?

Being safe on the Internet is highly recommended to young adults. However, you can surf the Internet and go online to speak to your friends, BUT is it really your friends? How do you know if it is, you should always ask if your online and speaking to your friends that it is really your friends. Ask questions about School and who's their best friend or teacher etc.

You shouldn't really tell anyone where your house is, or how old you are. You have to positive about surfing the Internet and being online.Being on the Internet and being online because, you don't know who's watching you/your profile or whatever you're on.

Click on Internet Safety Game, you'll be able to be a Internet Safety Game and hopefully you'll realise how important it is to be Online or on the Internet.

How to be Safe on the Internet ?

Being safe on the Internet is very important because if you give any of your personal information away anyone can find it and do things. Never put your photo on a site where anyone can see what you look like or were you live. This is because, people could come to your house and find you or ring you (if you put your phone number on).

This is why we are having an Internet safety day to tell us not to do this:
  • give your photo away
  • give your address away
  • give your phone number away
  • don't talk or meet up with anyone you don't know or don't go without telling somebody
  • don't give any personal information away.

If you want some more information go to the thinkuknow website.
