Our Target For Lent

This Lent, our school made a promise to try and raise £1,000 for a project to build a new school in Kenya so they can have a life like we do.
Now, all of our school are trying to raise at least £4 each.
Our latest idea is a culture show in which people will show something that is from another country.
Parents will be invited to watch our show, and the money we raise will go towards our Lent promise.
We would like to thank Victoria (in Year 5) and Mrs. Brockway (our Chaplain) for making this possible.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Pantomime

Listen to this our teacher Mr. Clowes performed in a pantomime called Cinderella.
WOW!!! He played two parts of the pantomine. How does he do it all?
And for good luck he brought the school choir to sing at the panto. But it was all for a good cause
because there was a little girl who had cancer, so he raised £2,000 thousand pounds with help from the public.

"We took over £5000 and are delighted. Two brilliant nights with terrific audiences. Had a great laugh and wonderful to be able to hand over hard earned monies to such a worthy cause." (Mr C)

For more information on Chelsea Knighton and how to make donations please visit: Fundraising4Charity
Or hand in your donations to Mr C at school.  Thank you for your generosity.

Mr.C's Pantomine

WOW!!! Our teacher (Mr.C) wrote a pantomine with his friends to raise money for a little girl called Chelsea Knighton. She has Acute Neuroblastoma and is only 3 years old!

Mr.C's target was at least £1,000 pounds, but he managed to raise £2,000!

WOW!!!

Cinderella Pantomime

Our year 6 teacher, Mr C, will be bringing all of his talents to bear in the 'Cinderella' pantomime in which he and the F4C members will perform on February 20th and 21st for charity.  It is for a very worthy cause and should be a lot of fun too!

If you have not already purchased your tickets for this fantastic pantomime and would like information on how to do so, please visit this site:

The Year 6 blog wishes him to "break a leg", in the best possible way.

See you there!

After School Activities

The Playground

The Hall

After school activities are really fun for all the children. Most clubs are for year 3 and upwards, but don't worry kids! You can still have loads of other types of fun! There's dreams drama, football club, Brownies (for girls ONLY) and many others.

If there are any more new clubs, we do have information to let you know, so you won't miss out on any of the fun. We are always getting new clubs!

Most of the activities are in the hall, out on the playground (both above), or out on the astroturf and fields.

SCHOOL'S SNOW

WOW!

Snow is flooding in to our school! It's been deserted for several days!
The sad thing is, that we can't make snowmen with ice! But snow; snow is a lovely thing...

SNOW SNOW

Snow Snow
So much fun
But oh dear!
No more sun!

Snow Snow
Lovely and white
