What WE are Doing At School
It's Piggy we've been doing geography. One of our class mates got 51 African countries out of 53 in 4 minutes WOW!!!! How cool is that and in maths I've been doing mass, capacity and distance. Dum dums maths group have been doing something else he will tell you about that... ok on to Dum dum.
Hi this is now Dum dum speaking, in history we've been learning about World War 2. A speaker came in and showed us some really coooooool stuff like identity booklets and ration booklets. We learned that the food was rationed and they were only allowed one fresh egg a week. We liked how interesting it was and liked how it was fair for poor people because they got the same share as richer people.
Girls football team.

We are studing about WWII in history. We enjoyed it because Mr.Clowes told us different things about WWII and he gave examples of what happened to his family in WWII. He told us about how St.Pauls cathedral narrowly escaped the bombs and how the Germans almost won.
In geography we are learning about continents geography.

From Australia

Hello to all back at St. Gregory's.
It's hard to believe that at this time last year I was teaching the fabulous children in St. Nicholas' Class. So much has happened since then, starting a new life here in Karratha, Western Australia.
I have nothing but happy memories of my time at St Gregory's. My first contact with the school was when I spent time there as a volunteer, followed by my role as an LSA with Ms Keating and finally to return as a teacher working alongside the legend that is Stephen Clowes.
I had some fantastic experiences whilst at the school, working with an enthusiastic group of children and such a dedicated team of staff was a pleasure. Memories of residential trips to Norfolk will never leave me, hard work but a laugh a minute!
Best wishes to all at St Gregory's for the future.

Secondary School!!!! from Caitlin B
CAITLIN BEHAN
Hi St.gregs , this is Caitlin Behan, from old y6. Well done on your sats I just wanted to do a post to say what it is like at Secondary School!
To start with you feel really small and and lonely, but then you realize everyone around you is feeling the same!
You make friends really easily, and you don't really feel like this is real, and then before you know it, it is sports day or the end of the year, and you see the new Y7s and you think, "that was me last time !"

Titanic: the titanic may have sunk, but this won't let you down!
Blue Peter's Partner

Blue Peter had given a girl called Christyna Lynch, two blue peter badges the first one was the type that you see the presenters wearing and the second one is the silver Blue peter badge and this is how you could get one your self ...
All YOU need to do to become a BLUE PETER PARTNER YOUR SELF is make something like a picture or send them a letter about something you did and they send you a blue peter badge, a pass with a unique number, a letter and a booklet that shows you where you can get into for free with your pass and badge which includes THE BBC AND CBBC TOUR.

This is what they gave me.

Stange objects
Some of the adults have had a strange rash appearing on their body as you can see on this picture.
...but later on in the Assembly Mr.Clowes told us that it was all a joke.
Teacher's Red Spots
What's Going On ?
During the weekend, while we were having fun,a plastic bag of strange items appeared as if out of the blue in the middle of the playing field!
Mr Clowes could not resist and went to see what was inside! (not such a great idea as it ends in, well, not tears - but very itchy spots!)
Mr C got in a muddle with the bag and carried it out as carefully and quickly as he could.
Who Did It?
If you have any information on these events, please tell the police.
