The Good Old Days

As always, one of the highlights at the end of the academic year is the good old musical extravaganza. In this case entitled, "The Good Old Days"! Parents were treated to rousing numbers performed by Year 6, complete in their Victorian costumes, and heartily sang to the pleasure of all. (I'm starting to sound like Mr C). Listen below to some of the rehearsal takes (mp3) as a reminder of a great evening.

Credits to: Mrs Sefton (pianoforte), Mr Clowes (director/performer), Mr Place (approval and all round bonhomie) and the entire Year 6, who worked extremely hard to perfect their performances.

YEAR SIX

Year six has been fun but now it's near the end so to make the end feel not sad ,we could try to make the last months fun by:

not getting upset or shouting at others,

we could be kind to other people or talk to others that you don't normally talk to.

As year six we have to set a good example. All the time at school we have had some great teachers especially MR. C !

ALREADY we have learnt a lot but we are only in year six so we still have a lot to learn in secondary school.

Sport

Year 6 took part in a sporting festival last week. The event was open to most schools and gave the children a chance to play a variety of different activities. Year 6 enjoyed cricket, golf and rugby and the afternoon was beautifully dry and warm too!

Our Role Plays

Today we did a role play based on the school.
My role play was about a interview selling the school.
I liked my best friend Eire's role play because she did about 2 more people coming into the school.
I'm not being mean on saying everyone's were rubbish because they weren't - they were all smashing!
Well done year 6!
