Year 6 Poem |
Last year the poem was filled with sorrow and we will not steal or borrow From the line that state we will weep, But really and truly in our heart it's filled with much love so deep. We have had a blessed year despite what others think or say, We know our head and will back you to the end. We are going to pastures new and heaven help the student Who will try to fill our shoes. To you, Mr McMorrow, we say good-bye And we hope this time you will cry. I have enjoyed my time here showing off every good work that I have done. Of every moment and of every day I thank you for the morals and values I have earned. To my new friends I will share and take the school motto with me through each year, I thank you very much and hope my presence bless you as much. What about me, as you can't forget as my mother is here, something you will not regret, My brother is here too so my face you won't miss but you will miss my happy little bliss. My songs, my poems and my voice you will miss so much My heart aches at the thought of this. I know you won't miss me at all, no really, with all my siblings here you'd be glad I'm gone, It's my quiet nature you will surely miss the most. I'll take with me the peace the school gives and the joys that the teachers give, With this I pray a prayer that this school will be the best forever. So with this we say good-bye and hope next year this school will be at its best, We will not lose faith and keep trusting in God We bless you Mr McMorrow and we love you so much As you are indeed the best. |
