SATs are over

Finally SAT'S are over , we had about 9 Sat's papers all together :( .

I think the easiest one was the reading one , because you only had to read the text and then answer questions ;the hardest were the science tests.

Today we got home made cake from Mrs B .

I feel a little happy and quite nervous because I don't know what next class I will get in and will any of my friends be with me in the same class?

Time For A Story

Our Year 6 group have recently been practising the very important (and difficult) art of written storytelling. It seems very easy to open a book and read a great story but, as Year 6 found out, it takes a little bit more than just writing down the first thing that comes into your head! Character, plot, pace and style all play their part and so we would like to offer you some of the best of their work, available to view on the link below.

There are three short stories to read: 'The Man Who Thought He Had Survived', 'Scared To Death', and 'L.A.' - and they are well worth a read...

The Gospel Choir

From Misc Photos 2

The self-created Gospel Choir of Thomas Becket Catholic School joined our assembly recently, offering fantastic, spirited versions of hymns for our children to participate in and enjoy. The whole school took part, including our nursery children, many of whom will remember this assembly for some time to come, I'm sure! They provided inspiration for our own fledgling choir, too. We look forward to welcoming them back to St Gregory's in the near future.
