The Best Teachers Ever!

Weird I tell ya! Our Teachers always make the lessons fun,and educational. :) Not boring!!! Mr C Is one of the funniest teachers in the school.
He does weird impressions, funny faces and once he made the whole school laugh at assembly!
Mr C and Mr P really are good (that would probably mean funny) teachers, and it's a shame we have to leave soon!
Mr C ADORES Tigger from Winnie the Pooh, and Mr P likes him as well, but I think Mr C likes him more (He has about 8 tigger toys on the wall)

When we leave, we will surely try to visit our school, and of course the BEST TEACHERS EVER!--->
(I'm talking about all of the teachers throughout the school) Without their help our grades would be very, very BAD!

Terrifying Tests
Tests to us can be hard and terrifying, but, they can help us a lot and up our grades. They can also help us to get into the secondary school that we would really like to go to. In lessons now we're just doing revision to help us in our tests, so no wonder we've got such good grades.
Every Friday we also do a spelling test and a short or a long writing task sometimes it might be hard, however it can also be easy, so don't be scared of tests, because here in St. Gregory's the teachers are there to help you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back We Go To The 1800's
On the 25th to the 29th 08 we went to Norfolk. On the Monday we got there at 12:30 after we went to the adventure play ground. Some of the activities were the agility course and the high ropes course our favourite one was the high ropes course.
On the second day we went to the workhouse it was interesting to see what the paupers got up to in the 1800s. We got back at 4:45 in time to get changed for dinner.
On the third day we went to Blakeney Point to see the seals by boat. We also walked 5 and a half miles from Blakeney Point to Clyde. After dinner we went swimming at splash, we had the entire pool to ourselves. There was a wave machine and a slide.
On the fourth day we carried on with the agility courses. When we had finished the agility courses we were told what team had won. After lunch we had a mystery picnic trail my team was the first to finish by about 24 minutes.
On the last day we went to a shire horse centre, it was freezing. We arrived in Northampton at half past four.

Our Exciting Week at Aylmerton
On Tuesday the 26th February, when we were in Norfolk , we did an agility course on the field. One of the activities was, we had to get a cup filled with water into a bucket, but sometimes it was not easy. This is what we had to do:
1.First we had to get the cup of water upon the fireman's pole.
2.Then we were told that we weren't allowed to travel the same way as the cup .
3.We had many challenges ahead of us.
4.Challenges such as ,the underground tunnel , riggins , swing rope , tyres , swing tyres and the tower.
Two of us had to stretch very far across a dip with the cup and nearly dropped it.
What a FUN trip we had!!!!!!!!!

Norfolk Time
We had to get our harness on and try
and walk across the tight rope walk,
after that we had to walk the wooden plank,
then another rope walk.
It was very hard we kept falling off the thin rope,
the secret was to walk side ways and have the same weight on
both sides of the rope.
I hope we go again.
IT WAS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!
OUR SCHOOL TRIP WAS GREAT!!
Day1: When we arrived at Norfolk, we were asked our name and had our heads checked. Soon after, we went onto the agility course. Not long after that, we had our dinner, then we had our evening drink. Then we went to bed.
Day2: At 7am we woke up, we had went down to breakfast. Once we were ready, we went onto the coach heading for the workhouse. 5 hours later, (when we got back) we got ready for dinner. After we had finnished our dinner, we had free time. After half an hour of that we went into the dinner hall for evening drink.
Day3: At about the same time we woke up and went into the dinner hall for breakfast. Once we were dressed we went and got our life jackets on. we went onto the coach heading to blakeny point. Once we got on the boat we had seen some seels, there wern,t many seels because there was a earth quake the night before. After we had to walk 5 miles, then we got onto the coach and got home.

WORLD BOOK DAY
6th of March 2008. it is so much fun everyone is dressed up differently and look so funny (some of them not all) our taecher Mr.Place is dressed as Harry Potter but he always takes his hat off and cape, and for some reason he does not have a scar on his head.
World Book Day!!!
Today is World Book Day. Everyone in the school has dressed up a character from their favorite book. Even the teachers have dressed up. We have a Cruella de Ville, Mr.Chips, Harry Potter,Marry Poppins and Alice in Wonderland's Bunny. In the children's catagory, we had from High School Musical, to St. Trinians and James Bond. It has been a very nice day. We even had a Scooby-Doo. Happy world book day from St. Gregorys.
World Book Day
On the 6th March the whole school dressed up as their favourite story character to celebrate World Book Day!
People dressed up as Cruella De Ville from 101 dalmations and characters from
St. Trinians!
Happy World Book Day!!!
World Book Day
Today the 6th March is World Book Day. All of are school is dressing up in their favourite book character, and bringing in one pound which is going towards people in other countries who need the money. We have World Book Day because at our school we all get a one pound token so we can get a book so people who dont have any books can get one worth the one pound book token.
WORLD BOOK DAY
It was really cool on world book day, because every body was dressed up as their favourite book character. We were all playing the part and all the teachers were dressed up as well. I was dressed up as Oliver Twist, also I think it is great to dress up and be creative by dressing up.

Day 1 In Aylmerton
On Monday, 25th February, yr6 went to Norfolk. We got on the coach at 9am and got to Norfolk at 12:30pm. When we got to Alymerton field study center, we had lunch and put our suitcases in our dorms. After that, we went out on the field and did some of the activities until 4:30pm. Then at 5:30pm we had our 3 course meal dinner. Then at 6:50 we met at the pavillion and were told that we were going to Felbrigge church called St.Margarets in the woods. When we got there we were told a scary story and then we went back to Alymerton and got our pjs on, we had cocoa and then a biscuit and went to bed.
Yr 6 Goes To Norfolk!
When Yr 6 went to Norfolk, we went on a picnic hunt.
We had to hide in the woods from the inspectors, so
we wouldn't have to go to the workhouse. The wenches
gave us clues and food, to help us get past the inspectors.
Also we had to find letters to make up the puzzle.
Near to the end we had to carry jelly not in the bowl but
on the tray. We had to hide the jelly from the inspectors,
and bring back to the centre.
Back at the centre we had to say a prayer to be thankful
for not going to the workhouse.

Weather and high ropes
In 2008, Yr6 went on a history trip. While there on a Thursday, groups 2 and 3 did some high rope climbing as part of our training so that we would not go to the workhouse and some high roping across the water that were at very high standards. Different people in different groups did an obstacle course and it certainly helped our skills!
Whilst there in Norfolk,Y6 experienced some rather unusual weather! On the first two days, the weather was lovely, however, the on Wednesday, when we went to Blakeney point, the weather of the Tuesday's earthquake caused the seals to move away from the boat when we went near them, to move further up the shore, and on to the other side!
So some rather unusual weather, won't you agree!
